LESSON 14 OF 20
Speaking Part 1 — Introduction & Interview
The Warm-Up That Still Counts

Give a specific personal example.
4

Add a closing thought or opinion.
Model Answer
"Do you enjoy reading?""Yes, really — mainly because it helps me relax after a long day. I love novels by Pakistani authors like Mohsin Hamid. Fiction really transports me to another world."
Useful Phrases
- "I'd say that..."
- "What I particularly like is..."
- "To be honest..."
- "That's a tricky question — I suppose..."
⚠️
Never answer with just "Yes" or "No"
A one-word answer gives the examiner nothing to score on Fluency, Vocabulary, or Grammar — always extend, even on the simplest question.
