Key Ideas
Game Design Document. Concept, mechanics, controls, win/lose conditions — write it BEFORE coding to avoid scope creep.
Asset Organization. Separate assets/images, assets/sounds, assets/fonts folders, loaded once via a shared helper.
Core Mechanics. Combine sprites, movement, collision and animation from earlier modules into one cohesive gameplay loop.
Testing. Playtest deliberately for edge cases (rapid input, boundary collisions, empty inventories) not just the happy path.
Packaging & Presentation. PyInstaller executable + README + gameplay GIF, hosted on itch.io or GitHub for your portfolio.
