Lesson 5 — Map & Diagram Labelling Cheat Sheet
In one line: Study the map before the audio starts and drill position vocabulary cold — this is a preparation skill, not a listening skill.
Key Ideas
1Study first. Orient yourself on the map/diagram before the recording plays.
2Compass. North is usually up unless stated otherwise.
3Diagrams. Note labels already filled in — they anchor your position.
4Predict. Work out what type of word fits each blank before listening.
